The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver delivers a stimulating wine education program certified by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) satisfying the needs of the novice and enthusiast through to the industry expert and professional sommelier. The program has extended instructional hours with increased focus on food and wine pairing, tasting techniques, and exam practice. The Art Institute of Vancouver has been short-listed in three consecutive years for the WSET Educator of theYear Award.
In 2009 we were the world's first and only school to be awarded a High Commended trophy by the WSET.

| Levels 1 to 3 are suitable for beginner to advanced level. Graduates of the Level 3 program who successfully pass the commensurate WSET exam may apply to use the title WSET Certified. Students include: enthusiasts, wine service professionals, wine sales representatives, restaurateurs, connoisseurs, winemakers. |

| Level 4 may only be studied by those who have successfully completed Level 3 - Advanced Wines & Spirits Studies and passed the commensurate Level 3 WSET examination or the ISG Diploma. Students who successfully complete all level 4 courses and pass the WSET Level 4 examinations will be awarded the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits. |
